Certified Gamer was a niche I saw that could use some major attention in the competitive gaming community. More Descriptions later.

A little while back I observed the competitive gaming scene and saw some opportunities. After talking to a bunch of people I made a little plan and went to designing. I was building a site that would be well received among competitive gamers, whether you were playing online ladders at Gamebattles or traveling to LAN events for MLG. I found myself surrounded by very marketable and talented players, people who could bring big crowds to the site and keep them interested. But it was a combination of me and them losing drive for the project and it never left the gates. Well I put alot of work into this site and built one of the best wordpress driven sites I’ve seen, I implemented tons of really nice features and spent a few late nights polishing it up. So here I am looking for some gaming writers who want to get in on the action.

The site is going to provide a collection of articles, videos, and insider news that is fueling the MLG and Gamebattles world. All this content is written by competitive gamers, for competive gamers. This website is all about the gaming community, So I need some people with some free time that can write for me and help promote it. Of course if the site becomes successfull I will be more than happy to share profits made through advertiseing and site monitization.

Therefore, If you are Gamer who plays matches, you know what GB is, you know what MLG is, and you are willing to write some articles in your freetime and make some easy money, please contact me or post in the comments. We can get started immediatly finalizing the site with some content and promotions.

The site is now live at CertifiedGamer.net, Check it out!

My Rating: 9/10Â

EA Sports is often tagged as releasing sequels as mere roster updates, Fight Night is not that case. This game absolutely perfects the boxing genre in a game. The visuals are the best available on the 360 and no game has been able to remotely come near the player models in this game. Full facial animations and body reactions for each punch are all flawlessly modeled. The incredible sounds of players barely breathing as they get tired, and bones cracking as you knock them to the ground over and over add to the experience. The controls are fluid and I wouldn’t know what to add. I honestly see no way to improve the game as far as mechanics go. EA has perfected the Boxing genre with Fight Night and if they can create a lag-free environment online this game is an instant 10. With the 50% chance I play a match full of lag as is now, the game gets a solid 9 though.

Visual: 10/10
Sound: 9/10
Gameplay: 10/10
Replayability: 9/10
